We had three days of outstanding state of the art lectures on all aspects of IgAN from bench to bedside and it was great to see young investigators present their research work. The Symposium started with a patient panel with patients from Argentina, Japan, Spain, USA and the UK all giving their perspectives on living with IgAN and telling us what their priorities are for the future in terms of areas to research. We must thank Professor Yusuke Suzuki and his team for putting on such a great symposium. The program will combine state-of-the-art lectures covering bench science to clinical trials of new therapies and oral and poster presentations of cutting edge research by young investigators from across the globe.
